124th birth anniversary: Google pays special tribute to BR Ambedkar with doodle
Bengaluru, April 14: Google dedicated its doodle today to Dr BR Ambedkar on the 124th birth anniversary of the revolutionary leader.
The doodle features an image of Ambedkar and as a mark of respect the doodle is featuring in seven countries apart from India including Argentina, Chile, Thailand, Peru, Poland, Sweden and UK.
Ambedkar had made an unparalleled contribution to the formation of India and was known for his relentless campaign of Dalit rights and women empowerment. Ambedkar died in his sleep on Dec 6 1956.
