Google CEO Sundar Pichai likely to visit India this month, to meet PM Modi
New Delhi, Dec 4: Google CEO Sundar Pichai is likely to visit India by the end of this month. However, the details of the visit is yet to be confirmed.
According to media reports, India born Pichai may have meetings with President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He is likely to host an open event with students from across India at the Delhi University. The event is likely to take place on December 16 as company has reportedly sent out an to the uiversity.
He will also outline the company's plans for India during a keynote address at a Google for India event.
Pichai an alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur had met Prime Minister Modi in September during his visit to the Silicon Valley in September.
Google had announced that it will collaborate with the Indian Railways to provide wi-fi services at 500 stations by next year.

He had also announced that Google will enable users to type in 11 Indian languages, including Gujarati on the Android platform.
