According to the survey, Congress will get 8-14 seats in the Assembly and the ruling SAD-BJP alliance will get just 6-12 seats.
The anti-incumbency factor, unemployment, drug abuse are the main reasons why people (78%) want change in government in Punjab, says the survey.
Favourite Chief Ministerial candidate
Arvind Kejriwal is the first choice as chief ministerial candidate for Punjab and then the next contender seems to be Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh, says the survey.
According to the survey, "Kejriwal should be declared the chief ministerial candidate for Punjab, said 59% respondents, while 51% said they would choose Arvind Kejriwal over Amarinder Singh. 35% said they would choose Amarinder Singh and 7% favoured Sukhbir Singh Badal"
In 2012 Punjab Assembly Elections, SAD won 56 seats, Congress won 46 seats, and BJP won 12 seats.
