New Delhi, April 1: In a good news for the Arvind Kejriwal-led-Aam Aadmi Party, a survey has predicted that AAP may win nearly 100 seats in Punjab.

The survey was conducted by HuffPost-CVoter in February.

AAP may win 100 seats in Punjab: Survey.
According to a Zeenews report, "As per the findings of the survey, AAP is likely to bag between 94-100 out of the 117 seats in the Punjab Legislative Assembly, up from the 83-89 projection of the CVoter poll from April, 2015. Interestingly, the survey claimed that 48 percent would vote for AAP if the election was held today."

According to the survey, Congress will get 8-14 seats in the Assembly and the ruling SAD-BJP alliance will get just 6-12 seats.

The anti-incumbency factor, unemployment, drug abuse are the main reasons why people (78%) want change in government in Punjab, says the survey.

Favourite Chief Ministerial candidate

Arvind Kejriwal is the first choice as chief ministerial candidate for Punjab and then the next contender seems to be Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh, says the survey.

According to the survey, "Kejriwal should be declared the chief ministerial candidate for Punjab, said 59% respondents, while 51% said they would choose Arvind Kejriwal over Amarinder Singh. 35% said they would choose Amarinder Singh and 7% favoured Sukhbir Singh Badal"

In 2012 Punjab Assembly Elections, SAD won 56 seats, Congress won 46 seats, and BJP won 12 seats.
