"Goli Ka Jawab Gola Se Denge" : Modi’s Stern Message Echoes In Lok Sabha

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party during a Parliamentary session, accusing them of consistently undermining the Indian armed forces and echoing Pakistan's propaganda. Recounting several critical moments, including the capture and return of Indian soldiers, Modi reaffirmed the government's strong military stance and India's rising self-reliance in defence.

Modi began by recalling a recent incident when a BSF jawan was captured following a Pakistani offensive. "Some thought this would be a moment of embarrassment for the government," he said. "But even that jawan returned home safely." Drawing parallels to the 2019 capture of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, the Prime Minister added, "When Abhinandan was taken prisoner, many said, 'Now Modi is trapped-let's see how he brings him back.' But he returned boldly and with honour, and importantly, on our terms."

He sharply criticised the Congress party for casting doubts on the success of Operation Sindoor. "First they refused to acknowledge the operation ever happened. Now they're questioning why it was called off. This has become their pattern-always opposing, no matter the outcome. Today, the entire country is laughing at their contradictions," Modi stated.

Modi accused Congress of having a long-standing history of disrespecting the military. Referencing the recent Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, he noted, "The nation honours that victory, but Congress has never truly owned it. Their record shows they have consistently failed to back our soldiers."

The Prime Minister condemned Congress leaders for demanding proof that the terrorists behind the April 22 Pahalgam attack came from Pakistan. "This is exactly what Pakistan's officials are doing. Instead of standing with the country, Congress is parroting the same narrative," he said.

In a serious revelation, Modi informed the House that on May 9, Pakistan launched nearly 1,000 missiles and drones targeting India. "But India's advanced air defence systems neutralised them mid-air. The threat was wiped out completely," he announced. He credited India's technological advances and the preparedness of its armed forces for this success.

Modi alleged that Pakistan's handlers were using Congress statements as tools of propaganda. "They're calling Operation Sindoor a 'tamasha', and so is Congress. First, they wanted to know what happened to the Pahalgam attackers. Now that Operation Mahadev has been launched, they question its timing," he said.

Criticising Congress's defence policies, Modi said, "For decades, self-reliance in defence was ignored. Instead, Congress pursued personal benefits from defence deals. They deliberately weakened our defence manufacturing post-Independence."

He praised the youth working in India's private defence sector, particularly those aged between 25 and 30, saying they played a crucial role in Operation Sindoor. "These young Indians are the backbone of our defence production ecosystem," he added.

The Prime Minister reiterated his government's bold initiatives in transforming India's defence capabilities. "For the first time since Independence, we've taken decisive steps-be it setting up the Chief of Defence Staff role or giving autonomy to our armed forces. We've pushed for domestic defence manufacturing and strengthened our strategic posture."

He underlined how "Make in India" weapons proved decisive in Operation Sindoor and said this was a testament to India's growing defence capacity and self-reliance.

"Pakistan now understands that India's response is stronger than ever before. They know that we can go to any length to safeguard our sovereignty. Their nuclear threats no longer hold weight," he declared.

PM Modi reaffirmed India's unwavering resolve in the fight against terrorism and called on all political parties to rise above partisan politics when it comes to national security. "India will not tolerate terrorism. And we will not tolerate those who speak the language of our enemies in our own Parliament," he said.
