Goa Raj Bhawan to use only plastic money
Mridula Sinha declared that the Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula is going to go cashless from today with all their transactions which include household expenses and tour expenditures.
Panaji, Feb 20: Goa Raj Bhavan has become cashless from today with Governor Mridula Sinha making the first transaction to mark the occasion.

"The Governor of Goa, Mridula Sinha has declared that the Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula is going to go cashless from today with all their transactions which include household expenses and tour expenditures," an official release said.
Sinha carried out one such cashless transaction on the occasion. Prior to this, training on cashless and secure transactions was held for the staff of the premises, it added.
Goa government had announced that the coastal state will increasingly opt for cashless transaction shifting from regular to plastic money.
