In an update on its website, the budget carrier informed customers that flights until May 26, 2023, have been canceled due to operational reasons.

The company assured customers that a full refund would be issued promptly to the original mode of payment.

Go First also mentioned that it has filed an application for immediate resolution and revival of operations, and expects to resume bookings in the near future.

On May 10, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) accepted the airline's voluntary plea for insolvency resolution proceedings, appointing Abhilash Lal as the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) to oversee the carrier's affairs.

Additionally, certain lessors have lodged an appeal against the NCLT's decision at the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). Furthermore, Go First has launched a claim management portal, 'gofirstclaims.in/claims,' specifically for the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) of the airline.
