Give us 35 MP seats, Didi govt will collapse: Shah in Bengal
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday slammed Mamata Banerjee's Bengal government over the recent violence during the Ram Navami celebration and urged the people to give BJP 35 seats in the state in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

"Can't Ram Navami processions be taken out in Bengal? Will they be attacked?" India Today quoted him as saying at a rally in Birbhum.
"It is Didi's (Mamata Banerjee) appeasement that has led to thisâ€æ Once the BJP government is formed in the state, no one will have the courage to attack the Ram Navami procession," Shah said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday arrived in West Bengal on Friday on a two-day visit to the state. During the visit, he will hold a public meeting and take stock of the organisational strength of the BJP in the state.

He said, "The only way to fight against the crimes of Didi and Bhaipo is BJP. The only way to free Bengal of terror is BJP. The only way to stop infiltration in Bengal is BJP... Give us 35 seats in 2024, there will be no need for 2025 (West Bengal polls); before 2025, Mamata Didi's govt will collapse."
Shah is visiting the state ahead of the rural polls due next month, and the party seeks to strengthen its organisational machinery.
He arrived at the Andal airport in Paschim Bardhaman on Friday noon. He was received by BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar, Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari and other senior BJP leaders.
