Ghaziabad Three Sisters’ Father Had Live-In Partner Despite Three Wives, She Died The Same Way 10 Years Ago

Fresh revelations have surfaced in the investigation into the deaths of three minor sisters in Ghaziabad, with authorities now linking their father, Chetan Kumar, to a separate suicide case from 2015.

The earlier incident involved Kumar's live-in partner, whose death had been ruled a suicide at the time. Officials believe the development adds another layer to the already disturbing case at the Bharat City residential township and may help investigators understand the broader family environment.

2015 Live-In Partner Death Returns to Spotlight

According to police records, Kumar had been living with another woman despite being married to two wives at the time. The woman died after falling from the roof of a flat in Rajendra Nagar Colony in Sahibabad in 2015.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Trans Hindon) Nimish Patil told news agency PTI that the case had been closed earlier, with authorities concluding it was suicide. However, officials are now revisiting the incident as part of the ongoing investigation to better evaluate the psychological conditions surrounding the family and its children.

Sisters Jumped From Ninth Floor After Late-Night Incident

Pakhi, 12, Prachi, 14, and Nishika, 16, allegedly died by suicide after their parents objected to their gaming habits and confiscated their phones. The sisters reportedly locked their room from inside before jumping from the balcony window one after another at around 2:15 am last Wednesday.

The loud noise alerted residents of the housing complex, who rushed to help. The girls were immediately taken to a hospital in Loni, where doctors declared them dead on arrival.

Investigation Reveals Unusual Family Structure and Financial Strain

As the probe progressed, investigators uncovered details about Kumar's complex personal life. He is currently married to three sisters: Sujata, Heena, and Tina. Sujata is believed to be the mother of Nishika, while Heena is the mother of Prachi and Pakhi. Kumar also shares a four-year-old daughter, Devu, with Tina. All members of the family were living under the same roof.

Authorities also found that Kumar, a stockbroker, was under severe financial pressure, carrying a debt of nearly Rs 2 crore. He had reportedly sold his daughters' mobile phones to pay electricity bills. The girls had not attended school for the past two years due to academic struggles and monetary constraints.

Diary Points to Korean Culture Obsession and Family Discord

An eight-page pocket diary recovered during the investigation suggests the sisters were deeply influenced by Korean entertainment and had adopted online Korean identities, even giving themselves Korean names. The note also hinted at tensions within the household.

"We love Korean," they wrote in their suicide note addressed to their father. Investigators believe the girls had been participating in a task-based Korean game that allegedly culminated in suicide.

Police have stated that the case is currently being treated as suicide. Officers are verifying the father's claims about the girls' gaming obsession while examining every related factor, including family dynamics and living conditions, to establish a clearer picture of the circumstances leading to the tragedy.
