German national found dead in Delhi hotel

The German man, identified as Edverse, had come to India on May 27 and checked in room number 803 of Eros Hotel in South East Delhi's Nehru Place area, police said.
"He had ordered continental food along with some beer for dinner last night. In the morning, when he did not come out of his room or answer any calls, the hotel staff checked his room and found him dead after which police was informed," a police official said.
"He had eaten only a couple of bites from his dinner and blood was found in his mouth," police said, adding prima facie he seems to have died a natural death, probably due to a cardiac arrest.
To ascertain the exact cause of the death, the body has been sent for postmortem and the German Embassy has been informed about the incident, police said.
