In collaboration with the Adani Group, ISKCON has been serving over 100,000 devotees daily through its "Mahaprasad Seva" initiative. This program provides free, pure vegetarian meals to pilgrims, reflecting ISKCON's mission of selfless service and devotion.
Adani visited the service camp's facilities, including the kitchens where the Mahaprasad is prepared, and commended the efforts of the volunteers and workers involved.
Adani underscored the spiritual importance of serving devotees, equating it to serving Mother Ganga. He emphasized that acts of service performed with sincerity and devotion hold a unique significance in connecting with the divine.
The collaboration between ISKCON and the Adani Group has made a considerable impact at the Maha Kumbh Mela, one of the largest spiritual gatherings in the world. With large-scale kitchens and multiple distribution points, the initiative has ensured that lakhs of pilgrims are served daily, seamlessly embodying the spirit of humanity and devotion.
The Adani Group's Mahaprasad service, running from January 13 to February 26, is set to serve five million devotees. ISKCON has established two large kitchens to prepare the food, with 40 distribution points across the Mahakumbh area.
Adani's visit to the ISKCON camp exemplified his dedication to promoting spiritual and cultural values while actively contributing to community welfare.
