Billionaire Gautam Adani's youngest son, Jeet Adani, married Diva Jaimin Shah today in a private ceremony in Ahmedabad. Diva is the daughter of diamond merchant Jaimin Shah.

Sharing moments from the wedding, Gautam Adani took to social media to express his gratitude and seek blessings for the newlyweds. He stated, "With the blessings of Almighty God, Jeet and Diva tied the sacred knot of marriage today. The wedding took place in Ahmedabad with traditional rituals and Shubh Mangal Bhaav, attended by close family and friends. It was a small, very private function, and I apologize for not being able to invite everyone. I sincerely ask for blessings and love for my daughter Diva and Jeet."

The wedding festivities, which began at 2 PM, followed traditional Jain and Gujarati customs at Shantigram, the Adani township in Ahmedabad.

In honor of the occasion, Gautam Adani announced a major philanthropic effort, pledging ₹10,000 crore for various social initiatives. A significant portion of this donation will go towards healthcare, education, and skill development, ensuring access to quality hospitals, medical colleges, and top K-12 schools for all members of society.

Moreover, Jeet Adani and Diva Shah have committed to assisting with the weddings of 500 women with disabilities each year. Days before the wedding, Jeet met with 21 newlywed women with disabilities and their husbands to kick off this initiative.

"Jeet and Diva have chosen to start their married life with a focus on social service. They have pledged ₹10 lakh each to support the weddings of 500 sisters with disabilities every year. As a father, this brings me great satisfaction. I believe this will bring dignity and happiness to many families," Gautam Adani shared on social media.

Jeet Adani, who joined the Adani Group in 2019 after studying at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, currently heads Adani Airports and Adani Digital Labs.

Gautam Adani previously mentioned that the wedding would be a "simple and traditional" event rather than an extravagant celebration.
