Gauri Lankesh murder: Now accused refuses to undergo narco test
The sole suspect arrested in connection with the Gauri Lankesh murder case has refused to undergo a narco-analysis test. The accused, K T Naveen Kumar had earlier told a sessions court that he was willing to undergo the test, but later backed out.

After he had initially given his consent, he was taken to Gujarat for the test. The dates given were April 16 and 30. However before he was subject to the test, the officials explained the process to him. He immediately refused to take the threat and even threatened to commit suicide.
As per the guidelines, an accused's consent is needed before he or she is subject to a scientific test. Now with Kumar refusing the test, the investigating agency will inform the court about the same.
