Gauri Lankesh murder: Chidambaram backs Rahul Gandhi's remark
In his comments, Rahul Gandhi had said anybody who spoke against the ideology of the BJP and RSS was "pressured, beaten, attacked and even killed".
Former Union Minister P Chidambaram on Saturday said people speaking against right wing extremist ideology are under threat.
Commenting on Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi' s remark on the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh, Chidambaram said, "Point is people speaking against right wing extremist ideology are under threat."
In his comments, Rahul Gandhi had said anybody who spoke against the ideology of the BJP and RSS was "pressured, beaten, attacked and even killed".
About the RBI's report on demonetisation, Chidambaram reiterated his stand that demonetisation was a wrong decision.

"Finally the RBI report has revealed what I said 6 months ago," Chidambaram said.
He once again emphasized that "demonetisation was a wrong decision and the government should have the courage to accept it."
