GATE Admit Card 2025 Release Date Delayed: New Date Announced; Check Exam Schedule Here
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced a change in the release date for the admit cards of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025, according to a Times Now report. Originally scheduled for release on January 2, the admit cards will now be made available on January 7.
Candidates registered for the exam are advised to prepare their registration number and password to access and download their hall tickets once they are released. The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall.

Examination Schedule
The GATE 2025 examinations will take place from February 1 to February 16. On February 1, several papers, including Computer Science and Information Technology, Agricultural Engineering, and Mathematics, will be conducted in the morning session from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. In the afternoon session, which runs from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, papers such as Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Textile Engineering and Fibre Science, and Instrumentation Engineering will be held.
On February 2, exams for Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, and Architecture and Planning will be conducted in the morning session, followed by Electrical Engineering in the afternoon.
The remaining exams will be conducted on subsequent dates. For instance, on February 15, exams like Chemistry, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, and Environmental Science will be held in the morning session, while Electronics and Communication Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Biomedical Engineering will be scheduled in the afternoon. On the final day, February 16, major papers such as Civil Engineering, Geology and Geophysics, and Chemical Engineering will be conducted, with morning and afternoon sessions planned for various subjects.
