GATE 2025 Registration Begins Today @gate2025.iitr.ac.in: Application Process Explained

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will open the registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 today, August 28. Eligible candidates can apply through the official link on [gate2025.iitr.ac.in](https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in).

Application Deadlines:

• Without late fee: September 26, 2024
• With late fee: October 7, 2024

Exam Dates: February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with two shifts on each day. Candidates can appear for up to two papers.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates in the 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate degree or those with a government-approved degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities are eligible.
• Those with certification from professional societies approved by MoE/AICTE/UGC/UPSC equivalent to BE/BTech/BArch are also eligible.
• International candidates must be in the 3rd year or higher of their qualifying degree or have completed a three-year Bachelor's degree.

Documents Required:

• High-quality images of photograph and signature as per guidelines.
• Scanned copy of category (SC/ST) certificate, PwD certificate, and Certificate of Dyslexia, if applicable.
• Valid photo ID (Aadhar, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License) containing name, date of birth, and unique identification number.

Application Fee:

• Regular Period:
• ₹900 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates
• ₹1,800 for all others
• Extended Period:
• ₹1,400 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates
• ₹2,300 for all others
