Gangster Kala Jathedi Marries History-Sheeter 'Madam Minz': What We Know About Their Marriage & Them

In a tightly-guarded place, gangster Sandeep alias Kala Jathedi married "history-sheeter" Anuradha Choudhary alias 'Madam Minz' on Monday.

The wedding was performed with tight security in place. To avert any incident of gang wars or the possibility of Sandeep's escape from custody, the Delhi Police has installed over half a dozen CCTV cameras while drones will keep an eye on activities during the marriage, PTI reported citing an official.

Sandeep's marriage ceremony will be guarded by 250 policemen along with SWAT (Special Weapons and Techniques) commandoes carrying hi-tech weapons, the report said.

The police contingent will consist of specialized units such as the special cell, crime branch, and Haryana's Crime Investigation Agency (CIA), as per the sources. Additionally, officials from the Rajasthan Police and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will monitor the event closely.

Furthermore, civil police officers armed with weapons will surveil the venue, ensuring enhanced security throughout the ceremony.

The banquet, Santosh Garden, in Dwarka Sector-3, has been booked by Sandeep's lawyer for Rs 51,000. It is located seven kilometers away from Tihar Jail.

As per the court's directive, Sandeep has been granted permission for his marriage ceremony from 10 am to 4 pm. The following day, March 13, he will be escorted to his hometown, village Jathedi in Sonipat, Haryana, for the couple's homecoming rituals.

Who is Kala Jathedi?

Going by the Delhi Police records, Sandeep is a close associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He is entangled in over a dozen criminal cases including robbery, murder, attempted murder, extortion, and violations of the Arms Act across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.

Sandeep is allegedly involved in cases involving contract killings and extortion targeting businessmen.

However, Sandeep has a history of evading custody, having previously escaped from Haryana Police custody and orchestrated the release of an associate from the custody of Delhi Police.

Describing an incident from 2020, a police officer recounted that Sandeep had escaped from Haryana Police custody while being taken to the Faridabad court. During the escape, members of his gang surrounded the police convoy and opened fire, resulting in one police personnel sustaining injuries.

Also, he and his associates orchestrated a shootout in Delhi's GTB Hospital and managed to free one Kuldeep Fajja from the custody of Delhi Police, an officer told the news agency.

Who Is Anuradha Choudhary?

Anuradha Choudhary aka Madam Minz allegedlyh has cases on liquor smuggling, land grabbing, extortion, and arms trafficking. Her name emerged during the investigation into the murder of popular Punjabi singer Siddhu Moosewala.

Hailing from Rajasthan, Chaudhary was in stock trading before getting involved in criminal activities. She was associated with gangster Anandpal. She was also married to lecturer Felix Deepak Minz between 2007 and 2013.

Sandeep and Anuradha fell in love during Covid-19 pandemic.
