Gangster Joginder Geong, Associated With Arsh Dalla Gang, Brought Back To India From Philippines
India's law enforcement team on Sunday brought back gangster Joginder Geong from the Philippines. Geong, who was implicated in more than 24 cases, was apprehended through a joint effort by Delhi and Haryana Police. His capture marks a crucial step in dismantling the crime syndicates operating across Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Delhi NCR.
The Delhi Police's special cell had been monitoring the growing alliance between Kaushal Chaudhary and Davinder Bambhia's crime groups. This collaboration facilitated criminal exchanges with Pro Khalistani Elements (PKEs) abroad. Notably, Lucky Patial and Arsh Dalla were involved in these exchanges. They are linked to the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF), a banned terrorist organisation.

Geong's Criminal Network
Joginder Geong, also known as Joga Don, played a pivotal role in this terror-crime nexus. He was identified as a key offshore node in the logistics network supporting these activities. His brother Surender Geong was also involved in numerous criminal acts before being killed in police action.
After his first deportation from South Africa in 2007 and subsequent release from jail, Joginder fled to the Philippines using a fake identity. There, he reorganised his gang and became deeply entrenched in Arsh Dalla's terror network. This involvement highlights his persistent criminal activities despite previous arrests.
Deportation and Arrest
The special cell tracked Joginder's movements in the Philippines and shared intelligence with Haryana Police. This collaboration led to actionable insights that resulted in his detention and deportation from Bacold City, where he had assumed a false identity. He was arrested upon arrival in India on the night of February 1-2, 2025.
Joginder's operations extended to areas like Karnal, Panipat, and Kaithal. He aimed to re-establish an extortion network targeting doctors, contractors, liquor vendors, and wealthy businessmen. His activities underscore his deep-rooted connections within the terror-criminal nexus.
Role in Crime Syndicates
The Bambhia syndicate is currently managed by fugitive Lucky Patial. It shares ties with Kaushal Chaudhary's group. Joginder emerged as a crucial planner within these networks. He facilitated logistics for fugitives and coordinated narcotics and weapons movements.
This logistical hub enabled sensational crimes such as the killings of Ex-SOPU President Vicky Midhukhera, Gurlal Brar, and Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambia.
