GAIL, GRID-INDIA, NPCIL Open Doors For Recruitment Through GATE 2025

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee is set to conduct the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, according to an NDTV report. This national-level exam is a gateway for admission into postgraduate engineering programmes and recruitment to several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

Several PSUs have announced the acceptance of GATE 2025 scores for recruitment:

1. GAIL (India) Limited will consider scores from CH, CS, EE, IN, and ME test papers.
2. GRID-INDIA will use EE test paper results.
3. Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) will recruit based on CE, CH, EC, EE, IN, and ME scores.
Additionally, the BSBE Department at IIT Kanpur will admit MTech students through GATE 2025.

GATE 2025 will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. Exam centres are divided into eight zones across the country. The results are expected to be declared on 19 March 2025.

Exam Pattern And Key Features

GATE 2025 offers 30 examination papers, allowing candidates to select one or two papers from specific combinations. The exam will last three hours and assess candidates on Recall, Comprehension, Application, Analysis, and Synthesis skills. Questions will be presented in three formats:

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Multiple Select Questions (MSQs)
• Numerical Answer Type (NAT)

GATE scores will remain valid for three years from the result date.
