Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has rubbished the reports that 50 chartered flights were used to ferry guests for his daughter's wedding.
Gadkari's office on Sunday termed such claims as 'mischievous and incorrect', reports said.
Gadkari's office stated that only ten non-scheduled fights landed at Nagpur Airport in the last 24 hours, which included those of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Chouhan.
The other flights included those of yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray, veteran filmmaker Ramoji Rao and media baron Subhash Chandra.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Gadkari's cabinet colleagues Venkaiah Naidu, Maneka Gandhi, Prakash Javadekar, Hansraj Ahir and Piyush Goyal were also on the guest list along with other dignitaries, said reports.
Maharashtra Ministers Chandrakant Dada Patil, Subhash Deshmukh, Pankaja Munde, Girish Mahajan, Sadabhau Khotkar and Girish Deshmukh were also present on the occasion.
Gadkari's daughter Ketki, the youngest of his three children, tied the knot with Aditya Kaskhedikar, who works with Facebook in the US.
