G20 Summit Day 2 Schedule: What Are the Key Events On September 10?
India is currently hosting the 18th Group of 20 (G20) Summit in the national capital, Delhi. The first day of the G20 Summit, which was Saturday, September 9, proved to be highly productive.
Key decisions made on the opening day included the adoption of the New Delhi Leadership Declaration, the announcement of a substantial India-Middle East-Europe economic corridor, and the induction of the African Union (AU) as a permanent member of the Group of 20.

As the G20 leaders, along with 170 guests, gather at Bharat Mandapam for dinner hosted by Indian President Droupadi Murmu, let's take a glimpse of what's on the agenda for the second day of the G20 Summit.
The G20 Summit commenced at Bharat Mandapam on Saturday and is scheduled to conclude on Sunday.
G20 Summit Day 2 Agenda (September 10, 2023):
- 8:15 am to 9 am: Arrival of leaders and heads of delegations at Rajghat, each in their individual motorcades.
- 9:00 am to 9:20 am: Leaders will pay their respects by laying a wreath at Mahatma Gandhi's Samadhi. A live performance featuring Mahatma Gandhi's favorite devotional songs will also be presented.
- 9:20 am: Leaders and Heads of Delegations will proceed to the Leaders' Lounge at Bharat Mandapam.
- 9:40 am to 10:15 am: Arrival of leaders and heads of delegation at Bharat Mandapam.
- 10:15 am to 10:30 am: A tree planting ceremony will take place at Bharat Mandapam's South Plaza.
- 10:30 am to 12:30 pm: The third session of the summit, titled 'One Future,' will be held at the venue, culminating in the adoption of the New Delhi Leaders' Declaration.
