From mob lynching to Congress alliance, here is Mayawati’s take
New Delhi, July 25: The Bahujan Samaj Party has indicated that it is willing to enter into an alliance with the Congress, provided it is offered a respectable number of seats. BSP chief, Mayawati's reaction comes in the wake of reports suggesting that the Congress and BSP may tie up for the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chattisgarh.

"The BSP will contest elections as a part of coalition government only if it gets a respectable number of seats," Mayawati said in a press briefing in the national capital.
On mob lynchings, she said that it is a deed of the narrow-minded BJP members and its supporters. I request the courts to intervene as I do not see the BJP taking any appropriate action, she also said.
