Fresh firing in Srinagar

Eyewitnesses say that two motorcycle-borne terrorists opened fire, injuring one civilian who has been taken to the hospital. A clear show of challenge that they can strike anywhere in Kashmir at their will, the terrorists took up the same Modus Operandi as they did in the Samba district.
Meanwhile, security near the bypass area and everywhere else in Jammu and Kashmir has been strengthened. Combing operations are on and police and paramilitary forces are searching the area for the terrorists. Part of the bypass has been closed for security.
Intelligence Reports
While red alert has been issued in the area, Intelligence reports suggest that various terrorist organizations are at work for a Winter Offensive in Jammu and Kashmir. They have also suggested that terrorist organizations in India are guiding operators across the border for terror attacks in the state.
In fact, there are reports of couriers going to and fro between unidentified sources in the two countries.
