French Ambassador meets Puducherry CM

Puducherry, Sept 10: French Ambassador to India Francois Richier on Thursday called on Chief Minister N Rangasamy.

Richier was accompanied by the Consul General of France in Puducherry, Philippe Janvier Kamiyama. Officials said it was a courtesy meeting.

Rangasamy gave framed Thanjavur paintings as mementos to the French delegation, they said.

Member of Parliament R Radhakrishnan, Chief Secretary Manoj Parida and Director of Information and Publicity Udayakumar were among those present.
