School girl molested, filmed: 4 held in UP

Hathras, March 17: The Uttar Pradesh Police on Tuesday, March 17 arrested four boys who have been accused of molesting and attacking a school girl.

In an another shocking and shameful incident, a group of six people allegedly attacked and molested the girl and filmed the entire incident. Later the gang posted the video on social media.

The incident took place in Hathras of Uttar Pradesh. The group attacked the girl when she was on her way back from school. The assailants also thrashed the friend of the victim.

According to the girl, she along with her friend was returning to home. They were stopped midway by the group of six men who hurled slangs at them. The girl also accused the assailants of molesting them.

The victim was quoted as saying, "I was on a bike with a relative when we were stopped by the group. They threatened and abused us. We begged them to leave us but they continued to misbehave."

Meanwhile, one police officer said, "Six boys made a clipping of this girl and also misbehaved with her. Four of them have been nabbed. The other two are absconding. We are trying to arrest them."

While police managed to detain four of the accused, two are still absconding. The cops informed that investigation is on and they will find out the other two accused soon.
