Four flights diverted to Bangalore due to heavy rains

Chennai, Aug 25: Four city-bound flights, including three international carriers, were today diverted to Bengaluru Airport following heavy rains.

A Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt, Malaysian Airlines from Kula Lumpur, Thai Airways from Bangkok and an Air India flight from Delhi were diverted to Bengaluru Airport, airport officials said.

However the flights returned later after the rains subsided, they added.
