Former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot tests positive for swine flu
Jaipur, Feb 1: Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has tested positive for swine flu. In a tweet, Gehlot said that he had tested positive for the H1N1 virus but his condition has improved after starting treatment in time.
"Mujhe bhi swine flu positive aaya hai lekin maine samay par ilaaj shuru kar liya hai, ab improvement hai," he tweeted.

"Gehlot is convalescing at home and taking medicine," his personal secretary told reporters here, adding that the former chief minister had fever for the last three days.
Gehlot had gone for a test after he complained of fever, cough and cold on getting back from Delhi where he campaigned for Congress candidates on January 30, the personal secretary said.
Rajasthan has witnessed 28 deaths due to H1N1 virus in the New Year, prompting the state government to direct senior medical officers from the medical directorate to go to various districts for effective monitoring of cases of swine flu.
