Former IAF Chief RKS Bhadauria Joins BJP
Former Indian Air Force chief RKS Bhadauria on Sunday joined the BJP in the presence of Union Minister Anurag Thakur.
Vinod Tawde, the BJP General Secretary, hailed Bhadauria for his extensive tenure in the Indian Air Force (IAF), expressing certainty that he will now bring his active engagement to the political arena following a commendable service in the defence forces.

Highlighting Bhadauria's nearly four-decade-long dedication to the IAF, the BJP leader emphasized his contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
Former MP from Tirupati, Varaprasad Rao Velagapalli too joined the BJP today.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Anurag Thakur highlighted that two leaders, with extensive experience in public service, have chosen to join the BJP to further serve the nation. He emphasized the Prime Minister's dedication to enhancing the country's security, prosperity, and development.
On his turn, he thanked the BJP leadership for giving him the opportunity to contribute to building the nation. "I served the IAF for more than four decades, but the best time of my service was the last eight years under the leadership of the BJP government. The tough steps taken by this government to empower and modernise our armed forces and make them self-reliant have not only given rise to a new capability in the forces but also given them a new confidence," Hindustan Times quoted him as saying.
"The results of the self-reliant move by the government can be seen on the ground. From the point of view of security, the steps being taken by the government are very important and will take India to new heights globally", Bhadauria stated.
