Former DMK minister, son, 10 others seek anticipatory bail
Madurai, May 18: Former DMK Minister K R Periyakaruppan, his son and 10 others on Wednesday, (May 18) moved Madras High Court bench, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with an alleged incident of violence during campaigning in the run up to the May 16 assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.
Periyakaruppan is contesting from Tiruppattur Assembly constituency. A case had been registered against all of them for allegedly pelting stones at AIADMK workers during election campaign at Pallathur last Friday (May 13).

Fearing arrest, they filed anticipatory bail application before the Madurai bench today.
