For Sharad Pawar it is business as usual, a day after he steps down as NCP chief
A day after all the drama, Sharad Pawar who had resigned as the chief of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is back with his routine.
He attended his daily routine meetings, which included interactions with party functionaries on Wednesday.

Pawar made a stunning revelation on Tuesday by saying that he is stepping down as the chief of the NCP, which had founded and helmed since 1999. He however added that he would not be retiring from public life.
The announcement had come as a shock to many leaders of the party. Many were seen crying and pleading with Pawar to reconsider his decision. Senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar said that his uncle Sharad Pawar would need another day or two to reconsider his decision. According to NCP functionaries, Pawar has been meeting with people including party workers as usual. He is said to have held meetings at the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan from 10 am to 1 pm.
The announcement by Pawar came in the wake of his daughter Supriya Sule staying last week that there will be two political blasts, one in Maharashtra and another in Delhi.
The decision by Pawar has led to several chiefs of the district units stating that they would quit their posts unless the senior leader does not consider his decision. Ajit Pawar own the other hand has requested party workers not to resign. He said that the NCP supremo is thinking over his decision and would need a day or two to decide.
