For Just Rs 3,000, Man Stabbed To Death In Broad Daylight [VIDEO]

A purported video of a murder that occurred in south Delhi's Tigri area on Wednesday has gone viral.

In the said clip, a 21-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly over Rs 3,000. The victim in the purported clip has been identified as Yusuf Ali.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary, officers at Tigri police station responded to a PCR call reporting a stabbing incident in the morning. The victim, Yusuf Ali, who lived in Sangam Vihar, was rushed to Batra Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors, PTI reported.

Shahrukh, a resident of K2 Block in Sangam Vihar, has been apprehended and admitted to hospital for treatment. A case is being registered against him, the police said.

In his statement, Yusuf's father Sahid Ali said his son was threatened by one Shahrukh around three-four days ago over a financial matter, Chowdhary said.

According to the victim's father, Yusuf had borrowed Rs 3,000 from Shahrukh, who was asking the victim to return the money.

The video, lasting over two minutes and captured from across the street, depicts a man repeatedly stabbing the victim outside a shop. Despite several people passing by, no one intervenes to help the victim.

Despite his injuries, the victim tries to defend himself, but the attacker continues the assault. Eventually, the victim collapses on the road, surrounded by splatters of blood. Only then do a few men come forward to rescue the victim, attacking the assailant.
