Flush of Justice: Man Attends Gujarat High Court Hearing Sitting In Loo, Video Goes Viral | WATCH
A video has gone viral showing a man attending court proceedings from a toilet in Gujarat. The incident took place on 20 June during a hearing held via videoconference.
The individual, who appeared under the Zoom username 'Samad Battery', joined the proceedings before Gujarat High Court Justice Nirzar S Desai while seated on a toilet, wearing earphones.

In the clip, he is seen placing his phone on the floor and cleaning himself during the hearing.
The footage also shows the advocate present in the courtroom delivering arguments. The case in question related to a cheque bounce matter.
A man enters Gujarat High Court’s virtual hearing from the toilet. I personally believe this is highly derogatory and calls for contemptuous action against the man for disrespecting the sanctity and dignity of court proceedings.

According to reports, the man was the complainant in a criminal case and was appearing as a respondent in a petition seeking to quash a first information report (FIR).
This is not the first time such an incident has occurred. In March, the Gujarat High Court imposed a ₹2 lakh fine and ordered community service for a man who had joined proceedings from a lavatory.
A month prior, another participant was fined ₹25,000 for attending a virtual hearing while lying in bed.
