Five women among 25 ISIS handlers spread network in India, lure Muslims

New Delhi, May 12: Five women among 25 handlers of the dreaded terrorist outfit Islamic State (ISIS) have been assigned with the task of spreading its network in India.

Despite a crackdown by the Indian intelligence agencies they are planning huge recruitment in India.
These handlers based in Philippines, Kenya, Argentina, Sri Lanka and Indonesia try to lure Muslims attracted to the idea of establishing a Caliphate, reported the India Today.

ISIS handlers spread network in India

These handlers developed contacts to push forward the agenda of ISIS during their visit to India in past.

Earlier recruitment plan of the terror outfit has been foiled by Indian agencies by tracking and intercepting their planned visit to Turkey and Syria.

The group has also launched an app featuring news, execution videos and their victories to propagate its agenda.

The App, however, may not work in regions outside the IS control.

Anwar Hussain, a resident of Bhatkal, who was killed in Afghanistan while fighting for the ISIS in 2014, emerged as new poster boy for the group.

The move termed as the propaganda technique to revive the recruitment drive because the attraction for the ISIS had been reducing among Indian Muslim youth.
