Five killed as house collapses in Andhra Pradesh
Kadapa (AP), Jul 26: Five persons, including two children, were today killed after the roof of a house collapsed due to incessant rains at Utapalavaram village in Kadapa district, police said.
The incident happened in wee hours today when the old-clay roof house collapsed due to rains, killing five persons on the spot and injuring two others, Mydukur Urban circle Inspector Y Venkateswarlu said.

The deceased identified as Angampalli Chinna Gurrappa (55), his wife Penchalamma (45), his daughter Harita (24), his grandsons Yaswant(5) and Navaneet(3), were asleep when mishap happened, the officer said.
The injured have been admitted to a local government hospital, Venkateswarlu said, adding, a case has been registered and investigations are on.
