Shooting at Delhi Car Showroom Leaves Three Injured

In a shocking incident in west Delhi's Tilak Nagar area, a violent shooting occurred at the Fusion Cars showroom, a dealer of second-hand luxury vehicles, on Monday evening. The attack, which unfolded at approximately 7 PM at the Ganesh Nagar location, resulted in three individuals sustaining injuries. Among the injured is Vikas Tyagi, identified as a worker of a political party, who is currently receiving medical treatment.

Authorities reported that the assailants discharged over 12 rounds of ammunition during the incident. The gunfire, aimed towards the showroom's glass facade and into the air, led to injuries from shattered glass, although no direct bullet wounds were reported. The Delhi Police are investigating the attack, which they initially suspect to be an extortion attempt.

A note discovered at the scene, believed to have been left by the attackers, demanded an extortion sum of approximately Rs 1 crore in the name of a gangster identified only as Neeraj. This clue has steered the investigation towards uncovering a potential criminal motive behind the brazen shooting.

Vikas Tyagi shared his harrowing experience through a video statement, recounting how he was outside the showroom when he noticed two individuals initiating gunfire. "One bullet hit my face. I don't know who were the attackers," Tyagi expressed, highlighting the sudden and unprovoked nature of the assault.

The Delhi Police are actively pursuing leads in this case, aiming to apprehend those responsible for this act of violence. The incident has raised concerns about safety and security in commercial areas, prompting law enforcement to reassess strategies to combat such extortion-related crimes.
