A fire broke out on the Amritsar-Purnia Jan Sewa Express near Sonbarsha, in the Sirhind area close to Ambala in Punjab, early Saturday morning. The incident occurred at around 7:30 AM when railway staff noticed smoke billowing from one of the train's coaches. Immediate action was taken to halt the train, and passengers were promptly evacuated from the affected compartment.
