Fire breaks out in iconic City Palace in Jaipur

Jaipur, Aug 24: A minor fire today broke out in a museum inside the City Palace here. No one was injured in the incident.

"The fire broke out in the office of the museum. No was injured in the incident and fire tenders have been pressed into service," Sub Inspector Rajesh Kumar said, adding the flames are under control.

City Palace is a palace complex in the Pink City and was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur. One of its part now houses a museum but the greater part of it is the residence of the members of Jaipur's erstwhile royal family.
