Fire breaks out at Army ammunition depot in Bhatinda, no one injured
The Army has ordered an enquiry into the matter.
A major fire broke out at an Army ammunition depot in Bhatinda, Punjab, on Thursday. The fire, which broke out at 5 am, took over one-and-half hours to contain.
No casualties were reported in the incident.

"Fire broke out at the Army's ammunition depot here at 5:10 am. It was contained by 6:30 am," PTI quoted Bathinda Deputy Commissioner Diprava Lakra as saying.
The Army has ordered an enquiry into the matter.
According to reports, the ammunition for 105 mm and 155 mm guns were damaged in the fire.
A short circuit is said to be the reason behind the fire.
