FIR registered against Cong leader for comment against Irani
Rangia (Assam), Dec 28: An FIR was registered against Congress MLA Nilamani Sendeka today for making controversial remarks against Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to police, the complaint was filed by a person named Benu Dhar Nath of Kamalpur at Kamalpur police station against Sendeka for his comments.
The complaint said that Sendeka used unparliamentary words against the Union Minister.
Meanwhile, BJP supporters in Rangia and Tulsibari burnt effigies of Sendeka on the national highway and Tulsibari market separately.
