FIR lodged after Rahul Gandhi's Twitter account hacked
On Wednesday, the official Twitter account of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was hacked which was retrieved later.
New Delhi, Dec 1: The Cyber cell of the Delhi police on Thursday has filed an FIR after a complaint was lodged following the hacking of Rahul Gandhi's Twitter account. The FIR was filed under Section 66 C and D of the Information Technology Act. The Congress had given a complaint to the police after the incident.
On Wednesday, the official Twitter account of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi was hacked which was retrieved later. The hackers had changed the twitter handle name from 'Office of Rahul Gandhi' to 'Office of Retard Gandhi'.
Earlier today, the Twitter account of the Congress party had been hacked.
A series of abusive tweets were sent out from the official handle of the Indian National Congress. Legion had claimed it had hacked into the account of Rahul Gandhi claimed responsibility for the hack on the Congress handle as well.
