FIR Filed Against Ten Individuals for Disturbing Communal Harmony in Nuh, Haryana
Police have charged ten individuals for allegedly disrupting communal peace and spreading false information about a sweets shop in Nuh city via social media. The controversy began when the shop's owner declined a customer's request to pay through UPI, leading to negative Facebook posts.

According to Girraj Prasad, the shop owner, false accusations were made on Facebook on July 21 against his business, Lala Chandiram Sweets, and its Muslim employees. The shop is located in Anaj Mandi and has been operational for 75 years. Prasad employs 10 to 12 Muslim workers and has relied on milk suppliers from the Muslim community for three decades.
Communal Harmony Concerns
Prasad believes the accusations are part of a deliberate plan to disrupt community harmony and incite communal tensions. He suspects that business rivalry might be behind this propaganda against his shop. The police have been provided with links to the Facebook profiles of those accused.
Following Prasad's complaint, an FIR was filed against Asif Hussain, Rafiq Ahmad, and eight others. DSP Headquarters Harinder Kumar stated that they are examining all aspects of the case. "We are investigating all angles. Strict action will be taken against people who have tried to disturb communal harmony. These accused will be arrested soon," said DSP Kumar.
The police are committed to taking firm action against those attempting to disturb communal peace. They assure that the individuals responsible for these actions will face arrest shortly.
