Film actors becoming leaders is a disaster for my country, says Prakash Raj

Speculations were rife that actor Prakash Raj is planning to join Congress Party and might contest either in Karnataka or Andhra Pradesh. However, Prakash has put an end to these speculations. Prakash Raj in Bengaluru on Sunday said that film actors becoming leaders is a disaster for my country.

Prakash Raj while addressing media said,''I'm not joining any political party. I don't like actors joining politics because they are actors and have fans. They should always stay aware about their responsibility towards them.''

Meanwhile, from Rajinikanth to Kamal Haasan, many big stars have expressed their interest to join the politics. Kamal Haasan has already decided to float a new party soon. Rajinikanth is also making moves towards the politics.
