Fight over Worli flat: All is not well between Indrani & Peter Mukerjea

Mumbai, March 31: All is not well between once happy couple Indrani Mukherjea and her husband Peter Mukherjea, both of whom are lodged in a Mumbai jail in connection with the murder case of Sheena Bora.

According to a report published in Mid Day, Indrani's lawyers have sent a 3-page legal notice to Marlow Co-operative Housing Society in Pochkhanawala Road in Worli, saying that Peter has no right over flat gifted to Vidhie, her daughter from an earlier marriage.

Peter, who got married to Indrani in 2002, is reportedly looking forward to sell the 3,000 sq ft fifth floor duplex flat to pay the bills of his seven-member legal team. [Peter Mukerjea makes shocking allegation against 'ambitious' Indrani]

Meanwhile, Indrani has made it clear that the flat should not be sold without her consent. The luxury flat was gifted to Vidhie by Indrani and Peter on Jan 7, 2011. [Indrani willed most of her properties to Vidhie]

Vidhie is Indrani's daughter from her marriage with Sanjeev Khanna. The sea-facing flat is reportedly priced between Rs 15 core to Rs 20 crore.

Indrani, who had a soft corner for Vidhie, feared that the entire property might go to Sheena and Rahul if they were married, the CBI chargesheet had stated in Nov 2015.

On Friday, March 25, beleagured media honcho Peter had claimed that Indrani is a highly ambitious lady who could sacrifice her own children to achieve her ambitions.

Besides Peter, other co-accused-- Indrani's former husband Sanjeev Khanna and her driver Shyamvar Rai are lodged in the Arthur Road jail, while Indrani is in the Byculla women's jail.

Indrani, Rai and Khanna allegedly strangled 24-year-old Sheena, inside a car on April 24, 2012. The crime came to light in August 2015.

Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Siddharth Das. Sheena was in a relationship with Rahul Mukerjea, who is Peter Mukerjea's son from his previous marriage.
