Ferozepur Triple Murder Case Unfolds: Dildeep Singh Was Prime Target

The investigation into the triple murder case in Ferozepur has revealed that the primary target was Dildeep Singh, according to police. Six individuals were arrested in Maharashtra in connection with the case. The shooting occurred near a gurdwara in Ferozepur on September 3, resulting in the deaths of Dildeep Singh, Jaspreet Kaur, and Akashdeep, while two others were injured.

Ferozepur Murder: Prime Target Revealed

Assistant Inspector General, Anti-Gangster Task Force Gurmeet Chauhan stated that all six arrested suspects are being transported to Ferozepur. "All the accused persons will be produced before court to procure police remand for further questioning," he said. The arrested individuals include Gurpreet Singh from Chohla Sahib in Tarn Taran, Prince from Kunde village in Ferozepur, and Ravinder Singh, Sukhchain Singh, Akshay, and Rajbeer Singh, all residents of Basti Bagh Wali in Ferozepur.

Personal Enmity Behind Murders

Preliminary investigations suggest that the murders stemmed from personal enmity between Dildeep Singh and Buvnesh Chopra alias Ashish and Harpreet Singh alias Happy Mal. Dildeep had a criminal history, which may have contributed to the conflict. The police launched Operation Desert to gather leads from the crime scene and background information on the deceased.

On the day of the incident, Dildeep Singh was travelling with Anmolpreet Singh, Jaspreet Kaur, Akashdeep, and Harpreet near Gurdwara Shri Akalgarh Sahib in Kamboj Nagar, Ferozepur City. Jaspreet was on her way to invite people to her wedding next month when they were attacked. Anmolpreet Singh and Harpreet Singh sustained injuries during the shooting.

Arrests Made Following Coordinated Efforts

Daljit Singh was arrested after meticulous investigations. During interrogation, Daljit disclosed that he was tasked with conducting reconnaissance on the victims and monitoring their movements. This information helped develop further leads.

The Anti-Gangster Task Force tracked the suspects' movements to Nanded in Maharashtra. They shared this information with central agencies and Maharashtra Police on the night of September 6 and 7. Following these inputs, the Commissioner of Police in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Aurangabad alerted his teams.

In close coordination with Punjab Police, Maharashtra Police intercepted a sports utility vehicle and detained the suspects. The coordinated efforts led to the successful apprehension of those involved.

The investigation continues as authorities seek to uncover more details about the motive and any additional accomplices involved in this tragic incident.
