'Feku' 'selfie' new entrants in Gujarati 'Lok Kosh'

Ahmedabad, Jan 19: During the electioneering, Congress used the word 'Feku' to hit out at then BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. The word instantly became a hit on social media. This word has now made it to Gujarati lexicon.

The word 'feku' which is colloquial Gujarati for a person who bluffs unabashedly, has been included in the e-dictionary maintained as 'Lok Kosh' (people's dictionary) by Gujaratilexicon.com - an initiative to promote Gujarati, says a Times of India report.

According to report, 1,000 glocal-something which reflects and is characterized by both local and global considerations-and colloquial words have been added in the dictionary.
