Family Of Seven Commits Mass Suicide In Surat, Gujarat; Similar To Burari, Delhi| Details
A distressing incident of mass suicide has emerged from Surat city in Gujarat, shedding light on a grim tragedy that unfolded in the Palanpur Patiya area. In this heart-wrenching event, seven members of a single family decided to embrace death, bringing to mind the chilling recollections of the Burari case in Delhi.
The victims of this incident were the elderly parents of a couple and their three children. Responding to the scene, the police discovered a suicide note, revealing that the family took this shocking step due to overwhelming financial difficulties.

Initial investigations conducted by the police have indicated that six individuals ingested poisonous substances, while one person opted for hanging as the method to end their life. The deceased individuals have been identified as Manish Solanki, his wife Rita, his father Kanu, his mother Shobha, and their three children - Disha, Kavya, and Kushal.
Manish's shop employed 35 workers, and on a fateful Saturday, 28th October, these employees attempted to contact him. However, receiving no response, they grew concerned and decided to visit his residence for a welfare check. Tragically, upon forcibly entering the house, they stumbled upon the harrowing scene of a mass suicide.
According to the police, the Solanki family resided in Apartment G-1 of Building C-2 in Siddheshwar Apartment, Palanpur Patiya. Neighbors shared that Manish Solanki had been grappling with financial woes for an extended period. He was deeply in debt in his furniture business, and it is believed that the family had contemplated selling their apartment as a means of escaping their financial predicament. Unfortunately, their inability to sell the flat seemingly led them to take this tragic course of action.
Media reports suggest that Manish, a furniture businessman, had lent money to someone, and his mounting frustration over the lack of repayment ultimately drove him to commit suicide alongside his family. Allegedly, in his suicide note, Manish expressed the reason for his actions, citing the unrecovered debts from numerous individuals as well as the debt he owed to many individuals as a profound source of despair and hopelessness.
