Fadnavis reviews security for Ganesh festival, Eid
Mumbai, Sept 16: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today reviewed security situation for forthcoming festive season here.
At a meeting in south Mumbai, Fadnavis said efforts should be made to ensure religious and social harmony and peace during the Ganesh festival beginning tomorrow and Bakri Eid.

Leaders of various parties and senior officials attended the meeting.
Legislators present in the meeting said that the transportation of lambs for sacrifice during Bakri Eid should be streamlined and the civic authorities should ensure adequate water supply during this period.
