Explosion outside BJP office in Srinagar, no casualties reported

In an official statement, a police spokesperson said that there is no apparent damage.

An explosion occurred near the BJP office in Srinagar on Saturday. However no casualties have been reported following the blast that took place near the BJP's office at Srinagar's Jawahar Nagar area.

According to a local news agency in Kashmir, the local police station SHO said,"I am on spot and the nature of blast is being ascertained. However, it was not a grenade explosion because no such damage has occurred."

In an official statement, a police spokesperson said that there is no apparent damage to the office or neighbouring buildings. The matter is being investigated into.
