Expelled AAP legislator Vinod Kumar Binny to go on hunger strike

The Aam Aadmi Party's disciplinary committee on Sunday expelled Binny for publicly making false statements against the party and its leadership.
Binny will begin his protest at Jantar Mantar - in the heart of the national capital - after meeting with Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung.
Kejriwal: We haven't formed government in Delhi to play politics of numbers
"I was told by the media that I have been expelled from the party. However, I have not been communicated about it either through mail or through a letter," he told reporters.
Binny, who defeated A.K. Walia, the health minister in the previous Sheila Dikshit government, from the Laxmi Nagar assembly constituency in east Delhi, had attacked his party's government for allegedly backtracking on the promises made in the election manifesto.
Post the incident, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said: "We haven't formed government in Delhi to play politics of numbers."
