Here are the Exit poll results as they come in.

Who is the winning the big battle in Uttar Pradesh? Elections have concluded in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Goa. The exit polls have started to roll out.

8:07 pm: Big win predicted for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh. India Today-My Axis gives the BJP 251 to 279 out of the 403 seats. The SP-Congress is winning 88 to 112 while the BSP is losing badly with 28 to 42.

The BJP is winning 34 out of the 40 seats in phase 7 according to India Today-My Axis India exit poll. The SP-Congress is winning 1 while the BSP gets 2 and others 1.

8:02 pm: The India Today-My Axis India exit poll for the phase six gives the BJP 34 out of the 49 seats. The SP-Congress alliance is winning 8 while the BSP gets 5. Others have drawn a blank.

7:50 pm: In the fifth phase, India Today-My Axis India exit poll says the BJP is winning 26 out of 52 seats. The SP-Congress combine is winning 12 while the BSP is winning 1.

7:41 pm: The India Today-My Axis India exit poll says in the fourth phase of the UP polls, the BJP is winning 37 out of the 52 seats. The SP and Congress will win 12 and others 4. The BSP is drawing a blank.

In UP's third phase, the BJP is winning 39, the SP-Congress combine 15, and the BSP, 8, according to the India Today-My Axis India exit poll.

7:26 pm: The India Today- My Axis India exit poll gives the SP-Congress combine, 30 out of the 67 seats in the second phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. The BJP gets 21 while the BSP 3.

7:08 pm: Akhilesh Yadav tells BBC that he is ready to tie-up with the BSP.

7:06 pm: The India Today-My Axis India exit poll gives the BJP 50 out of the 73 seats in the first phase. The SP has fallen to 7 seats, the exit polls says. The BSP is winning 7 too.

6:55 pm: Happy place to be for the Congress. In Manipur, the Congress is winning 30-36 says India Today- My Axis India exit polls. The BJP is winning BJP-16-22, BSP-3-5 and others: 3-6.

6:54 pm: The ABP-CSDS has predicted a hung assembly in Uttar Pradesh with the BJP likely to bag 164-176 seats. The ABP-CSDS has predicted 156-169 seats for the SP-Congress alliance

6:47 pm: ABP News says SP+Congress will win 156-169, BJP 164-176, BSP 60-72, and others 2-6 in Uttar Pradesh.

6:28 pm: Uttar Pradesh exit poll 2017: NewsX-MRC predict 185 for BJP

Projections of NewsX-MRC for Uttar Pradesh assembly polls predicts BJP emerging as the single largest party with 185 votes. The forecast for Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance stands at 120 with projections for Bahujan Samaj Party stands at 90 and 8 seats to others.

6:04 pm: The Times Now-VMR exit poll has predicted major gain for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Uttar Pradesh. The exit poll predicts anywhere between 190-210 seats for the saffron party in UP, which has 403 assembly seats.

6:00 pm: According to the Chanakya exit poll, predictions for Uttarakhand put BJP in the driver's seat with projections of 53 seats with plus or minus 7 and Congress in a distant 15

5:58 pm: In Manipur, the BJP is likely to win 25 to 31 seats, while the Congress will win 17 to 23 seats. Others will win 9 to 15 seats according to the C-Voter-India TV exit poll.

5:54 pm: India News-MRC exit poll predicts 185 seats to the BJP in Uttar Pradesh while giving 120 seats to the Congress-SP alliance. Predictions for Mayawati's BSP stands at 90 with 8 seats predicted for others.

5:56 pm: NEWS24 and Chanakya Exit Poll predict a BJP dominance in Uttarakhand with 53 seats, followed by Congress 15, and others two.

5:49 pm: BJP will emerge as the biggest party in Goa, Manipur according to C-Voter India TV exit poll.

C-Voter-India TV exit poll: In Manipur, BJP is likely to win 25-31 seats, Congress 17-23 seats.

In Goa, BJP+ likely to get 15-21 seats, Congress 12-18 seats

5:48 pm: NewsX-MRC exit poll for Uttar Pradesh predicts upper hand to the BJP with 185 seats, followed by the Samajwadi party and Congres alliance with 120 seats and Mayawati's BSP with 90 votes.

5:38 pm: According to India Today-My Axis India exit polls, the Congress is winning in Punjab. The exit poll gives the Congress 62 to 71 seats, AAP: 42 to 51 SAD-BJP: 4 to 7 and Others: 0-2.
