Exclusive: TMC's Kirti Azad Calls BJP A 'Jumla Party', Asks Why PM Is Welcoming Corrupt
In an exclusive conversation with OneIndia, former India cricketer and Trinamool Congress candidate from West Bengal's Bardhaman-Durgapur seat, Kirti Azad slammed the Central Government stating PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah's politics depends on hoax promises and lies. Kirti Azad asked why Prime Minister Modi kept quiet when atrocities were done on women of Manipur, were they not Modi's Parivar?
He added that the BJP believes in divide-and-rule politics, and splitting the votes, however, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee believes that politics is to serve people. She promotes secularism, believes in development, and works to empower women.

Azad further said that Whatever happens in Bengal today, happens in India tomorrow.
Kirti Azad further called BJP as Bharashtachar Janata Party and the Bhartiya Jumla Party, which is welcoming alleged corrupts every day.
Prime Minister had promised to end corruption so he is washing all leaders in BJP's washing machine and hugging them, admitting them to the saffron party, TMC candidate said.
Responding to a question about his goals if voted to power, Kirti Azad said he will raise his voice to get West Bengal's financial share like State GST, which was collected from the people of West Bengal, has been stopped by the Center. He said the Center did nothing for West Bengal. On the other hand, CM Mamata Banerjee made payments to MANREGA workers
from the state budget.
Kirti Azad, who originally hails from Bihar, further said that Bihar and Bengal are same, the problems of the people are same, and he is receiving same love and support.
For the unversed, Kirti Azad is a three-time Member of Parliament who was earlier associated with Congress and BJP, before joining Trinamool Congress.
